When you (the person named on the order) place an order with us (Wholesale Tool Warehouse) we do business together under the following terms:

Prices

We offer goods for sale through our website (www.wholesaletoolwarehouse.com), our catalogue and via representatives. Our website will always show the lowest and current price available for any item.

VAT

The prices we quote on the website exclude VAT. VAT is calculated at the current rate and added to the order during the checkout process.

Availability and out of stock items

Our website shows if an item is in stock or out of stock. The website only allows you to order items that are in stock,  but although this information is updated regularly, occasionally it is out of date or incorrect.

If some of the item's you've ordred are out of stock, we will refund you for those items and process the rest of the order as usual. If all of the item's you've ordered are out of stock, we will issue you a full refund and cancel the order.

We may also give you the option to elay dispatch of your order for a couple of days while new stock is obtained or to have the out of stock items sent to you once they are in stock again (seperately to the rest of your order).

You may contact us at any time to check on the progress of your order.

Diapatch and Delivery

We will deliver your order to any UK address. Our standard delivery uses a national carrier or Royal Mail and in most cases you will receive your goods within 4 working days. Delivery shouldn't take longer than 6 working days. If you live off the beaten track or the carrier finds your address more difficult to find, your delivery may take a little longer. With some of the more remote areas such as the highlands of Scotland delivery can take several days. The delivery may talso take longer if faulty items are received form the manufacturer (and need to be sent back) or if delivery from the manufacturer takes longer than usual. The goods become your property as soon as they are dispatched to you.

Age Restrictions

Age restrictions apply to the supply of some goods. By ordering these goods you confirm that you are over 18 and that the person receiving the delivery is also over 18.

Payment

All of our goods are offered to you on a payment with order basis. Your payment is due to us when you place the order and is accepted by most credit cards, debit cards, by PAyPal or NoChex. Our representitives also accept cash. We will only accept your order if it is accompanied by payment in full. We provide credit accounts to a limited number of Businesses, Local Authorities and Government funded establishments.

Receiving Orders

Unless we have your written authorisation, we will always require an authorised signature when delivering goods to you.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order you may do so at any time until we dispatch it. Your order will be packed and dispatched in a very short period. If you wish to cancel the order you should do so by telephone and we will confirm that it has been possible.

14 Day Refund

Once your order has been dispatched or collected you may return the goods at your expense for a refund, provided the goods are in the original packaging, in unused condition and you do so within 14 days of purchase.

12 Month Guarantee

All products are guaranteed for at least 12 months from the day of purchase. We sell only branded products which usually carry an extended manufacturer's warranty.

If any of the goods we supply fails to perform satisfactorily due to faulty materials or workmanship in the first 12 months, the goods will be replaced, refunded or repaired (at our or the manufacturer's discretion). Please see the Guarantee page for detail of how to report goods that have failed due to faulty materials or workmanship.

Many of the goods we sell carry longer manufacturer's warranties; our guarantee is intended to give you additional peace of mind and not as a substitute for the manufacturer's warranty.

3 Year or Lifetime Guarantee

Many items come with a longer manufacturer's warranties. Please see the Guarantee page for details of how to register for these longer manufacturer's warranties.

Our Mistakes

We constantly update our product's prices and offers. We are confident of our technology and staff but acknowledge that human error is always possible. If goods are offered for sale incorrectly we will always try to honour our offer. There may be circumstances where it is not possible for us to do so. In such cases we will contact you and explain the situation, if we are unable to resolve the matter fairly with you we reserve the right to refuse your order and refund any payment you may have made.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Where things like strikes, wars, acts of terrorism or even small things like power cuts interfere in our business with you, we will do our best to keep things going. We shall have no liability to you for any failure which is due to such unforeseen circumstances or any other situation outside our control.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms of Business is intended to affect your statutory rights or to limit our liability for death, personal injury or fraudulent misrepresentation resulting from our negligence, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law (including our liability under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987). We will not compensate for delivery delays or failures that are outside our controll. We will not be liable to you for any business losses and/or losses to non-consumers or for any losses which were not foreseeable to both parties at the time you purchased the goods.

Law

These terms of business will be interpreted and adjudicated under English law.
